Welcome to e-Learning, one of MCC’s flexible learning programs. e-Learning is available to MCC students and provides an alternative to traditional classroom course format.
Students may take one course, several courses or even complete a degree or certificate through e-Learning. e-Learning courses are fully accredited college courses that follow the school calendar.
Modes of delivery for e-Learning courses vary from print based (PRT) to online (WWW). Courses that use DVD’s (DLT) have material available that may be checked out at the Mott Library and the Southern Lakes Branch Center. DVD’s are available for viewing at the Lapeer Extension Center.
e-Learning courses begin with start-up sessions, there may be on-campus review sessions and may have proctored examinations. An MCC instructor manages each course and is available by phone, email, or in person during published office hours.
Prior to registration for an e-Learning course with the delivery mode code of IMM, CMM or WWW students MUST successfully complete a Preparedness Session (DLES-100). These sessions are available throughout the semester. While there is no charge and no grade is given, please note that this is a MANDATORY requirement.
